In a Country that declares Democracy like USA , it is a bit weird to see such a behaviour for a leading World News Station like CNN. And Firing Octavia Nasr For just showing some sympathy for the Death of AL Alamma 2alsayid Fadlalah is a real shame.
But the apology and explaining and regretting what She said is not an act that i expect from a journalist like Octavia Nasr , she who believes in freedom of speech should have kept her opinion and not apologize.
I'm Sorry for her being fired, and for her apologizing.

The problem i see, is not that she apologized, it is that after what she said she got fired, but what we, and those mentioned in her tweet, did for her???
in the CNN, as i know there are eminent Arab figures !!! but SILENT !!!
the first tweet was stupid to begin with. everyone knows that Fadlallah isn't a "Hezbollah" Giant, at least not since a really long time. in fact, the Manar itself used to refer to him as "Fadlallah" without "Sayyed" sometimes. you'd think that a senior at CNN would know that.
